Yellow..your friend or foe?

Some questions for you to ponder....

Are you 'self aware'?
Do you acknowledge your strengths and weaknesses?
Do you know when people are showing you the mirror of your soul?
Can you distinguish between what is 'your stuff' and what is not?
Do you have objectivity about yourself?
Do you love your mind?
Do you have a sense of your own uniqueness?
Do you learn easily?
Can you concentrate?
Are you open to new ideas?
Are you an independent thinker?
Do you allow the laughter to bubble to the surface?
Do you really know how to be lighthearted and fun loving?
Do you often fell tight or restricted in the stomach area?
Are you nervous and fluttery...butterflies in the tummy sort of feeling?

This is one of the hardest 'colours' to fully step in to.....self esteem with out excessive ego...freedom from worries and fears...standing happily in who we are and the letting go of confusion... come on then...who's game to let their yellow shine?

I enjoyed contemplating this post. I've never used yellow in my decor and I don't know why. I do always give my V. Van Gogh book with it's bright yellow cover prominence on my book shelf. The yellow flowers you posted seem to perfectly express your words:

"self esteem with out excessive ego...freedom from worries and fears...standing happily.."

love,
Sunny

Yellow is a colour we shy away from..it demands us to really look at ourselves and overcome our self consciousness and fears...not easy by any means!

Sandra (purple/yellow sandra!) I was thinking of you as I was writing this post..I am glad you have popped in. Your av is a good symbol of embracing all the good things of yellow!!! Finding your treasure!
: )

AC... it is a colour that kids feel ok with...I think as we get older we are challenged by it as our fears and worries try to take hold!

As a small child I could see colors around people that I called soul colors and my own soul changed from blue to yellow after a heart attack last year.

I don't know if these soul colors are real or just a product of my imagination but I'm happy with a yellow soul.

It's funny, I've been feeling really anxious and stressed lately, but the second I gazed into the bright yellow colours, something crazy happened and the stressed subsided, even if it were only for a few moments.

Just discovered your blog, and love it. :D
